The Iranian regime does not hesitate to kill Kurds!

Armîta Giravend, a Kurdish girl from Loristan in eastern Kurdistan, was recognized by a security soldier named “Hijab Ban” at the age of 17.

She died after 28 days in a coma.

The incident took place in september at Shuheda metro station in Tehran. As always, the Iranian regime has tried to cover up this incident, but failed due to the opposition of Armita’s family. This time the authorities wanted to take her body and put pressure on her family to bury her in their town of Kirmashah.

The killing and violence against the Kurds takes place daily in today’s Iran. In recent days, two Kurdish teachers named Sîrwa Pur Muhammed and Idris Minbari have been sentenced to 10 years in prison for teaching the Kurdish language in the city of Sine.

The Kurdistan Diaspora Confederation, KDC, strongly condemns the Iranian regime and the murder of Armita Giravend.

Speaking and learning the Kurdish language is a natural right of the Kurdish people. We demand the immediate release of the two Kurdish teachers Sîrwa Pur Muhammed and Idris Minberi.

We call on Iranian and world opinion to condemn and protest against the actions of the Iranian regime.
